This sure is getting some hate on here and I don't know why. At least this is about legitimate boxing, not crossover crap. From this article, it seems like a ShoBox type of thing with more background on the fighters. Personally, I don't have time or interest to watch up and comer's much, but they're find out soon enough if there's an audience for it. I don't see the problem with it.

You see what the article said. Overtime targets Gen Z. Honestly how many Gen Z people are on here? My guess is not many.
Did you see what it said? 8 out of 10 of their subscribers said they like boxing.
Idk how many sports they cover, but they said boxings 4th.
Whats boxings rank among every other generation?
And I have heard people say boxing is dead around 2008 or 2009 when MMA was starting to take off.
This is Gen Z boxing.Tag, You're Hit likes this.

I like it, Shakur can come on and tell us how he likes to hit defense-less people on the ground and how he got away with hitting a woman, and tell the m if you have promoter money backing you, you can stay out of jail. Gen Z will eat that stuff up.

I know nothing about this promotional outfit. But if it adds more meaningful fights to the sport why not?
After all, isn't DAZN the sports equivalent of Netflix? Netflix doesn't produce every movie they offer in their contents.
They buy them from independent film makers and many sources. It should be that way with DAZN,
not just limit themselves with GBP and Matchroom.
Bottom like is if you have the ability to stage watchable fights that no other promoters can do, do it and sell it to DAZN,
which is what it is supposed to be for.JohnnyCan likes this.

"Storylines" for these athletes is like applying a band-aid to a deep gash that's being repeatedly slashed by a knife. That perpetual self-inflicted injury of weak in-house matchups (and blatant corruption) marginalizes the sport. Compelling fights (like Inoue-Fulton and Crawford-Spence) are rare events. Fix the root cause; true superstars will then shine to a larger fan base.
