If this cowboy had any intentions of fighting Bivol, he already would've.
When he talked to Hearn, after leaving TR, the first guy Hearn offered him was exactly Bivol!

Ramirez doesn't seem to have the skill level of Bivol and Canelo.

But one thing about him, he'll go for it, meaning he shows urgency in a fight and goes after an opponent aggressively.

Look at Canelo against Mayweather and Bivol, he was befuddled and frustrated, looked lost. Whereas at least De La Hoya, and even Pacquiao to an extent, showed some urgency against Floyd in their fights.

Ramirez would give a good account against Bivol, although I'm not saying he'd win.

Zurdo doesn't have the skill nor the speed to contend with Bivol. He is slow as molasses. Bivol - Ramirez would look a lot like Bivol - Smith Jr except worse because Smith Jr is fast compared to Zurdo. Bivol beats Zurdo no worse than 118-110 or by late rounds TKO.

Bivol was 183 on fight night vs Canelo. He's a small light heavyweight. Jacobs was reported to be 185-190 vs GGG at middleweight. Zurdo was 204(!) vs Boesel. So he at least has that going for him. Not sure if his skillset matches Bivol though.

He's Bivol's mandatory and they are both on DAZN. Why not?

Bivol needs to go for the unification fight next, not Ramirez, though Zurdo has earned his shot (been calling out Bivol for over a year now). The Beterbiev-Smith fight is only 4 weeks away, so the timing is perfect. And we KNOW there won't be a draw in that fight! Somebody is getting KO'D. Beterbiev has the edge, but I gotta pull from my American homey and blue-collar hero Joe Smith Jr.

If Smith looses, Ramirez-Smith may be a good match to see if Zurdo can take a punch at this weight.

He sure is beating his chest awfully hard. Which is funny because he had the chance to fight Beterbiev for over 2 years but instead chose not to fight. Hm.
