Does anyone actually think a third GGG fight is about anything but money? It's not about what's dangerous or not. It's literally just because Hearn wants to make money, and Canelo wants legacy, and Hearn offered up Bivol, which is the first chunk at another undisputed title, but tied it to a third GGG fight.

Canelo has been very clear that he wants to make history. The Charlo's and Benavidez' have nothing to offer in that respect. History isn't likely to remember either one of them. A fifth weight division or double undisputed has a lot more appeal to someone trying to make a mark in the history books than fighting the flavor of the month fighter. Does anyone seriously think that either of those two is HOF worthy?

If GGG was hurt to the body against Murata, and it certainly looked like he was, it doesn't bode well for his chances against a much harder body puncher in Canelo. I thought GGG won the first fight, but he certainly hasn't looked like the same fighter. Who knows though, maybe he can pull a Donaire out, although that seems harder at the higher weight classes. He'll get a great pay day, and one more crack at redemption. I'm sure he realizes he's got to get a stoppage to win, and in any case, Canelo has to do his part on May 7.
