Germany has some pretty decent fight cards these days. I wish I could go over there and experience the 'boxing scene.'

As for Pulev, he's a good hw prospect who's taking on quality opponent after quality and hope it pays off for him a year or two...

Did Oleg pull out? Boxrec.com shows Pulev fighting his original opponent.

Platov has apparently pulled out of a fight again. Well Orlov is not very good, but it's better than staying inactive.

I hope Chambers moves down to CW too, and I hope Rakhim Chakhkiev doesn't move up to HW like Chagaev and Ibragimov did after fine achievements in the amateurs in the "under 200" category. Cruiserweight would be a loaded division if these guys fought there instead of becoming fatties at HW.
Definitely. Yeah I realize that CW is not a high paying division, but I think that would change if there were more top fighters engaged in competitive fights. Kinda weird how Ibragimov retired so early.

Hucks going to have his work cut out for him with Minto, who was giving Arreola some pretty good work there for a while. I'll have to give Chakhkiev a look.

That's pretty unfortunate. Orlov is 6'9", but a step down from the guys Pulev has been fighting. Pulev looks like he could be about 3 or 4 fights away from a title shot if he's matched right. This fight isn't getting him there.

              Oloukun W 8

Now he's fighting a prime Oleg Platov (when an established heavyweight like David Tua is wasting his time with a shot Monte Barrett, and Alexander Povetkin is fighting bums like Sergio Mora).
lol Pavetkin didnt fight the contender champion lolllll

LOL @ Pulev's replacement opponent. That guy makes Chris Arreola look like a dedicated gymnast...

I kind of hope he does. I also would like CW to get attention and thrive but it didn't under Gomez, Jirov, Toney, didn't under Haye or Adamek etc and realize that it isn't going to happen.

Vitali will retire within 1 year i imagine and Volodymyr within the next 2 or 3 so the division will be pretty wide open and aside from Pulev (6'4 1/2) and maybe Helenius (6'6) there aren't any good big HW's.

Chakhkiev would not have a big size disadvantage vs the top of the division and his power looks insane.

Chakhkiev's most recent fight from last weekend i think.

His opponent had to be carried out on a stretcher.

there are 2 or 3 other fights under "chakhkiev" on youtube.
